1. Educational purposes only
All Youth Sports Clarity ("YSC") content and tools are for general educational and informational purposes. They are not individualized professional advice and should not be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands the complete facts.
2. No legal, medical, mental-health, or professional advice
YSC does not provide legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, mental-health care, therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, official reporting guidance, investigation, case management, or representation. Discussion of documentation, escalation, policies, bullying, burnout, anxiety, team culture, child experience, communication, or parent advocacy does not create professional advice or a professional relationship.
3. Not an emergency or official reporting channel
Do not use YSC to report immediate danger, suspected abuse, sexual misconduct, grooming, threats, self-harm, violence, medical emergencies, or urgent safety concerns. Submitting or saving information does not report it to a coach, club, school, league, state association, national governing body, the U.S. Center for SafeSport, law enforcement, child protective services, or another authority.
Contact the appropriate authority directly and promptly. YSC does not monitor submissions for emergency language and cannot guarantee review, response, escalation, preservation, or intervention.
4. No guaranteed results
YSC does not guarantee that a tool, course, template, output, report, message, or decision will fix a problem, change behavior, produce discipline or accountability, obtain a refund, protect playing time or placement, prevent retaliation or harm, satisfy an organization, meet a deadline, preserve a claim, create legal protection, or produce a response. Outcomes depend on facts, people, policies, timing, evidence, jurisdiction, and systems outside YSC’s control.
5. User review and responsibility
You are responsible for verifying facts, dates, names, tone, recipients, policies, deadlines, and legal requirements. Before sending or publishing anything, review it carefully, correct errors, remove unnecessary emotion and private information, and decide whether professional advice is needed. Never send AI-assisted or template-generated text without review and editing.
6. Documentation is not proof
YSC may help organize facts, timelines, patterns, and concerns. Documentation alone does not prove misconduct, abuse, discrimination, retaliation, negligence, policy violations, damages, or legal wrongdoing. Only an authorized organization, investigator, professional, regulator, or court can make a formal finding within its jurisdiction.
7. Sensitive allegations and public statements
Youth sports matters may involve minors, families, coaches, volunteers, schools, and emotionally charged allegations. Avoid public accusations, doxxing, harassment, retaliation, gossip, group-chat escalation, or online publication of identifying or unverified information. Consider private, factual documentation and qualified advice before making consequential statements.
8. Organization-specific rules
Clubs, schools, leagues, state associations, national governing bodies, SafeSport-related entities, and government agencies may have different jurisdiction, deadlines, appeal rights, evidence rules, confidentiality requirements, and reporting channels. YSC does not guarantee that a tool or template satisfies any organization’s requirements. Review current official policies and instructions.
9. AI, third-party resources, and examples
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, legally inappropriate, emotionally inappropriate, or unsuitable for your facts. Links, references, examples, scenarios, testimonials, and case-style content are provided for illustration and convenience, not as endorsement, verification, or a promise of similar results. Examples may be fictionalized, anonymized, combined, or modified to protect privacy.
10. Use at your own risk
You assume responsibility for how you use the Services and for resulting decisions, communications, documentation, reports, escalation choices, downloads, and disclosures. The warranty disclaimers and liability limits in the Terms of Service apply to this General Disclaimer.
